Description
The ALLGRIT E CARBON-X SPORTFIT is the lightest and most refined flat bar electric gravel bike in the range, weighing just 12.1 kg. Designed with a more upright, confident riding position, it delivers greater control and comfort across varied terrain. Built for riders who want the speed, feel and responsiveness of a top-tier carbon frame, with power that’s there when you need it and virtually invisible when you don’t. Its lightweight, aero-optimised carbon frame is paired with a rugged, fully wireless SRAM Apex XPLR AXS groupset, durable Mavic Allroad alloy wheels, versatile 45 mm Schwalbe G-One tyres and an adventure-ready Selle Italia Model X saddle. All topped off with a sleek, integrated one-piece carbon cockpit.
Electric Motor System
The MAHLE X20 system gives you lightweight, natural-feeling power that kicks in when you need it. It’s whisper-quiet, stealthily tucked away, and delivers up to 140 km of assistance, or more than 200 km with the optional range extender. With up to 65Nm of torque and a larger 350 Wh battery, it helps you up climbs, across rough ground and through longer days in the saddle. The intuitive Duo handlebar puts unmatched control of the ride at your fingertips. You can even set the system to respond to your effort or heart rate, so it’s always working how you want it, whether you're training, rebuilding fitness or just riding for the love of it.
Groupset
Apex is the groupset designed for riders who demand versatility and performance. Apex AXS delivers a wide range 1x12 drivetrain that's ideal for gravel, bikepacking, adventure, casual rides, and everything in between. Its wireless electronic shifting ensures smooth, reliable performance with precise gear changes, excellent chain retention, and confident hydraulic disc braking. With full AXS connectivity, you can customise shift settings, monitor battery life, and update firmware, all from a single device. Intuitive and user-friendly, Apex keeps your focus where it belongs: on the ride.
Wheelset
Designed to ride smoother and faster on dirt, gravel, and road, you can ride it all with confident control with the lightweight, durable, and responsive Mavic Allroad wheels with integrated MAHLE X20 motor. Paired with 45 mm Schwalbe G-One R Performance tyres, it strikes the perfect balance of speed, grip, and stability. Ideal for riders who push the boundaries across varied and demanding surfaces.
Handlebars
The new Ribble one-piece carbon cockpit enhances performance while sharpening the bike’s aesthetic with clean lines and fully integrated cabling. Its relaxed, upright position improves control and visibility across mixed terrain, while ergonomic grips boost all-day comfort and confident handling on back lanes, gravel and everything in between. The integrated Duo handlebar control unit lets you manage assistance levels effortlessly without taking your hands off the bars, so you can stay focused on the ride.
Saddle
Stay stable and comfortable over rough terrain, our integrated seat post clamp, combined with a proprietary D-shaped carbon seat post and the Selle Italia Model X saddle, delivers excellent rear-end compliance and effectively reduces trail chatter for all-day comfort.
Suspension Fork Upgrade
When the gravel turns rough and the terrain gets technical, the RockShox Rudy Ultimate fork steps in to smooth out the ride. Available as an upgrade on the Ribble ALLGRIT E CARBON-X, this premium suspension fork is purpose-built for gravel racing, offering up to 30mm of travel for improved comfort, control, and confidence. Whether you're carving through gravel or hammering down technical descents, Rudy’s refined damping and lightweight design help you stay fast, focused, and in total command.

Like all Ribble bikes, the ALLGRIT E CARBON-X SPORTFIT comes with a lifetime frame and fork warranty for the original owner. This covers any manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship. All other components, including third-party suspension forks, are covered by the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
Yes. The ALLGRIT E CARBON-X SPORTFIT is available with the optional RockShox Rudy Ultimate suspension fork. This upgrade enhances comfort and control on rougher gravel trails, allowing you to stay fast and confident when the terrain becomes technical.
Typical range is up to 140km for a 90kg rider over mixed terrain. A 60km range extender is available for longer rides.
Yes. The ALLGRIT E CARBON-X SPORTFIT is pedal-assisted, so it always requires rider input. Stop pedalling and it coasts to a stop. Just like a regular bike.
No. The motor only provides assistance when you pedal. You’re always in full control of speed and handling.
No. You don’t need a licence, tax or insurance to ride pedal-assisted electric bikes in the UK. That said, we always recommend having some form of bike insurance.
Yes. Most schemes now allow higher-value bikes, including e-bikes. Check your employer’s limits before ordering.
The Duo handlebar remote allows you to adjust assistance levels with a single press, providing effortless and intuitive control at your fingertips. Assistance levels are shown as follows:
- White: off
- Green: minimum
- Orange: medium
- Purple: maximum
- Cyan: smart assist via app
The ALLGRIT E CARBON-X SPORTFIT's X20 control uses seven LEDs to display battery charge.
- Fully lit = 94–100%
- Fewer lights = lower charge
- Slow blinking = 0-10%
- Fast blinking: critically low (0–5%)
Just plug into any standard socket using the supplied charger. The optional range extender can also be used to charge the main battery on the go.
Yes. You can test ride the ALLGRIT E CARBON-X at our Clitheroe showroom. Please check availability in advance.
Yes. The ALLGRIT E CARBON-X SPORTFIT’s electrical components are IP54 rated for splash protection but should not be jet washed or fully immersed. Use a waterproof cover when transporting in wet conditions.
The battery is internal. A MAHLE-certified technician can remove it via the bottom bracket shell if needed.
The ALLGRIT E CARBON-X SPORTFIT's iX3 battery is designed to handle around 500 full charge cycles with minimal degradation, provided it is stored and maintained correctly.
Yes. The ALLGRIT E CARBON-X SPORTFIT features fully internal cable routing for clean aesthetics and added protection.
The ALLGRIT E CARBON-X SPORTFIT comes with 40mm tyres as standard and can take up to 50mm, or 45mm with mudguards. The front forks will also accept a 29 x 2.1" (700x53c) mountain bike tyre.
Yes. A pannier rack adaptor kit is available separately to attach a rear rack, boosting carrying capacity by up to 15 kg.
No, it is not approved for use with child safety seats.
Yes. A removable mudguard bridge kit makes fitting mudguards easy. We also offer a combined mudguard and rack adaptor kit for anyone looking to fit both. (kits sold separately).
It uses a proprietary D-shaped carbon seatpost with integrated wedge clamp. Available in inline or setback options and two lengths, making it easy to dial in the right fit across different frame sizes (recommended lengths are XS-S: 280mm, M-XL: 330mm).
A MAHLE-specific PF46 bottom bracket with built-in torque sensor.
It uses 1.5" integrated headset bearings – size R457B 52x42x7mm (45°x45°) top and bottom.
Two: one on the downtube and one on the seat tube, positioned to work with Ribble aero bottle cages.

Yes. While the ALLGRIT E CARBON-X comes with a 1x drivetrain, it can also accommodate a braze-on front derailleur using an optional derailleur hanger (sold separately) and 2x gravel chainsets (30/46T or 31/48T).
The ULTRA-GRIT uses a universal derailleur hanger (UDH), standardising hanger design across bikes. That means no more hunting for a frame-specific hanger with just one simple, universal solution.
Yes. The maximum system weight (bike, rider and luggage) is 120kg.
