With a 140 km range from a single charge (increasing to over 200 km with the optional range extender), the power is delivered smoothly as you pedal, yet powerful enough to propel you up the toughest climbs and across mixed terrains. The powerful MAHLE X20 motor provides 55Nm of torque and features a larger 350Wh capacity battery. The fully-featured system can be customised to kick in against pre-set parameters such as your heart rate, making the SL R e an ideal training partner if you’re building your fitness or recovering from injury.

If you're between sizes, we usually recommend going smaller. It's easier to tweak the fit with a longer stem or more seat post, while a bigger frame gives you less room to adjust.

No. The ALLROAD SL R E only provides power when you pedal. You remain in full control, with the motor assisting based on your chosen power level.
No. The ALLROAD SL R E is a pedal-assisted electric bike, so there’s no need for a licence, insurance or road tax. Optional bike insurance is still a good idea.
Yes. Most schemes now allow higher-value bikes, including e-bikes. Check your employer’s limits before ordering.

Yes. The ALLROAD SL R E features IP54-rated electronics. They’re splashproof but not waterproof—avoid submerging or pressure washing. Use a waterproof cover when transporting the bike.
The battery is internal. A MAHLE-certified technician can remove it via the bottom bracket shell if needed.

Yes, the RI-2 carbon integrated handlebars, in combination with the frameset, enable all the cables to be entirely hidden. This preserves the ultra-sleek lines for maximum drag savings.
Absolutely. The ALLROAD SL R E is fully compatible with the latest Shimano and SRAM electronic drivetrains.
The ALLROAD SL R E comes fitted with durable 32 mm road-focused tyres but is designed to accommodate up to 38 mm tyres. It’s also fully mudguard-compatible when running 32 mm tyres, thanks to discreetly integrated mounts.
While we recommend a 35 mm tyre size, we’ve successfully fitted Challenge Gravel Grinder 700x38 mm tyres to the ALLROAD SL R E. These are best suited for light gravel, and clearance may be insufficient for tyres with a more aggressive tread pattern.
Yes. With our exclusive mudguard and pannier conversion kit, you can easily fit a pannier rack to carry everything you need. (Kit sold separately.)
Yes. Our exclusive mudguard conversion kit allows full-length mudguards to be fitted with tyres up to 32mm wide. Perfect for staying clean and comfortable in wet weather. (Optional upgrade.)

Thanks to thru-axles front and rear, puncture repair is just like any other modern road or gravel bike. Remove the axle with an Allen key, take out the wheel, and repair as usual.
No. Pedals aren’t included as riders use different systems. You can, however, choose from a range of best-selling pedals when configuring your bike.
